Santa Babara

Welcome back people! I just came back from a trip to Santa Barbara and I'm going to tell you all about it. I live in Northern California so I drive south. While on the way to Santa Barbara I stopped at Monterey Bay Aquarium. It was a pretty big Aquarium. There were hundreds of fish loaded in the tanks there. There was even a chance to scuba dive, but I didn't feel like it. After visiting Monterey Bay Aquarium, we drove down some more until we got hungry. We had no choice but to go to a McDonald's, but there was an interesting twist. Inside, there was a jukebox, a big replica of Elvis Presley, and 6 Nintendo Gamecubes for guys under the age 13. Pretty cool, huh. Don't see that in a McDonald's. We drove all the way to Santa Barbara and stayed there for the night. In the morning, we packed up and went to the car. We drove in Santa Barbara and visited a courthouse that allows visitors. It had four stories and dozens of courtrooms. On the first story, there were probably 6 or 7 courtrooms and more. On the second floor, there were again 6 or 7 court rooms. We all got to walk into a giant room with rows of chairs and a stage where important people meet for discussions. On the third floor, there was nothing. On the fourth floor, it was small but there was a view of all of Santa Barbara. I could see tall rise buildings and small buildings of all styles and completed with a mountain or ocean background. Boards on each side of the fourth floor had something that told you what the buildings were from your view. After going to the court house, we went to Stearn's Wharf and had some seafood. Maybe a bit too much seafood. Then we went to the Santa Barbara Zoo. It was pretty big for a zoo and it had its own train that went around the zoo. We rode the train and we all saw a monkey swinging on the trees of the zoo. Pretty amazing and the other animals were great and you can see them. After a long day, we all drove home, remembering how great the trip was

San Francisco

Ah, San Francisco. City by the bay . Great place, huh. While you are there flying your car off and onto the famous slanted roads, here are some more things to do there. While your there, you can visit Ghirardelli square, probably the headquarters of Ghirardelli, well known for chocolate, and try some chocolate. After that, you should go to famous Pier 39. Full stores and activities, it's great to be there. There is even an aquarium and Boudin, a place to learn and see how sourdough bread is made. After all that, head down to Fisherman's wharf if you want some fresh seafood from the bay. My favorite place to eat there is called Sabella & La Torre, but it's up to you. Anyway, after having seafood, you have to take a short boat ride to Angel and/or Alcatraz Islands. Both of them have their own history which I'm not going to describe. Angel Island tours are easier to find then Alcatraz tours. Tours last 2 or 3 hours. There are also other tours, but I prefer these two. The last thing you have to do before you go home is drive on the magnificent Golden Gate Bridge. You could either turn to Sausalito or drive back, but it's up to you. Then you could drive home.

Reno

Hey, Bloggers of the World. People always think Reno is so boring. They only sleep there and go somewhere else to play. But, they're missing out on a lot of things. First, there are tons of arcades where you can win prizes. In one of the games I found, you could win a guitar! But I didn't(Boo!!).
Anyway, Second, are plenty of great restaurants and food(I even tried out this steak buffet. I could only eat one, but people around me were stuffing them by the tens like there was no tomorrow!), and at night, the lights pop in and the city is a blast of color. Not as glamorous as Vegas, but pretty good. Last, another good thing is Reno is close to Lake Tahoe, so you can go there anytime you like. Well, that's the end of this article. See ya soon!
